Another Blow to APAs Smear Campaign

Thank You to North West Bylines for Retraction of Inaccurate Article

We would like to extend our thanks to North West Bylines for their recent decision to fully retract their 5th August 2025 article.

Following its publication, we raised serious concerns regarding major factual errors and misinformation that had been provided by Elaine Toland of Animal Protection Agency (APA). For years, certain groups have used misinformation and bullying tactics to push their agenda, often targeting without a fair representation of the facts. The claims made in the article were misleading and damaging, and did not accurately reflect reality.

After reviewing our formal complaint and considering the matter in detail, North West Bylines took the responsible step of retracting the article in its entirety. We also note that this decision followed  legal consultation, underscoring the importance of accuracy and fairness in reporting.

We appreciate North West Bylines for addressing this matter promptly and professionally, and for recognising the need to correct the public record.
